Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate-a fatty acid based surfactant (soap) made from coconut oil. Sourced for it's natural origin and non-irritating qualities. An alternative to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate used in most commercial shampoos. SLS can be irritating and drying to the hair and scalp but SCI is more mild and moisturizing. It helps remove product and oil-build up on the hair and scalp. Commonly known as "Baby Foam" due to its exceptional mildness (mild enough for your little ones!) SCI is the soap agent used in most shampoos formulated especially for color treated hair.

Color- we use clay or mica powders to add color to our shampoo. The color helps to differentiate from our conditioner and will not transfer to hair or skin.

Coco-glucoside- a natural surfactant derived from coconut oil and glucose. It helps to keep your scalp and hair moisturized, thereby making the hair soft and smooth. It also helps to prevent frizz and makes your hair more manageable.

Lauryl glucoside- Despite its very “chemical” name, Lauryl Glucoside is completely natural. Lauryl glucoside creates an excellent and stable foam. It cleans your hair without stripping it.

Behenyl alcohol- derived from plants, like corn, behenyl alcohol acts as a thickening agent and emulsifier (to keep oil and water from separating) in hair care products. It can also keep hair from becoming dry.

Stearic Acid- Provides lightweight condition and protection to the hair and skin. It coats the hair shaft, giving it condition and protection without making it dull or heavy.

Shea Butter- creates a barrier on your hair that can be a healthy alternative to chemical heat protectants, and also helps with UV protection.

Fragrance- we use fragrance oils specially made for bath and beauty products. Our fragrances are light and will not transfer to your hair.

BTMS 50- a mild emulsifying and conditioning agent that can be used on both hair and skin. It acts as a moisturizer, detangler and conditioner. It feels silky smooth on the skin and conditions hair like no other emulsifier.

Ceteraryl alcohol- Unlike other types of alcohol, it's not drying or irritating. It is used to help smooth and seal the hair cuticle, leaving a softer, silkier finish.

Xyliance- a vegetable-derived emulsifier it allows us to form a smooth product that glides over your skin and hair.

Shea butter- creates a barrier on your hair that can be a healthy alternative to chemical heat protectants, and also helps with UV protection.

Illipe butter- High in Vitamins A and E, Illipe Butter is known to soothe and hydrate the scalp and hair. This vitamin combination also encourages production of healthy sebum, shielding the hair and scalp from external aggressors, helping to sustain hair from becoming dry or breaking off.

Broccoli Seed Oil- leaves a light film around the hair strand that imparts the hair with shine and lustre and prevents frizz. The antioxidant properties of vitamin C, which is high in broccoli, offer protection from free radicals.

Polyquaternium-7- detangles, facilitates combing, gives the hair better body, and improves hair dryness. It will add softness and shine to dry hair.

Beeswax- Moisturizes and seals the hair, smoothes flyaways, and assists with hair growth. Great for curly hair.

Lactic Acid- works by breaking down dead skin lurking in your roots, and dissolving product buildup. This improves your hair health and allows the roots to grow. It doesn't weigh down your hair. Instead, it improves the scalp's natural moisture, which in turn hydrates your hair, making it feel less dry and more bouncy.
